| Tim Southam Tim is a specialist in human factors integration, workload, fatigue and the management of change. He served as a fast-jet pilot in the Royal Air Force for 21 years, during which he worked in a range of roles including project managing multi-national projects. After leaving the RAF he became involved in Human Factors research working on projects concerning human workload, spatial awareness and cognitive processes. He subsequently used his management and leadership experience in training and management consultancy aimed at improving clients’ business performance through Human Factors and Root Cause Analysis. He now delivers a variety of training solutions and consultancy including IOSH and NEBOSH training.
Tim is a Registered Ergonomist, a member of the Governing Council of the Ergonomics Society, a Chartered Safety professional and Chair of the IOSH Offshore Group.
