Behavioural Safety Training

Developing a culture where workplace safety is everyone’s business and everyone’s shared responsibility

Behavioural Safety Training

Underpinning all safety related behaviour is the attitudes, values and beliefs held by both the individual and the company. Experience has shown that whereas limited improvements to safety can be achieved by enforcement, the true enabler that reduces accident rates is found by engendering a shift in attitude.

WrightWay works with the client to examine the prevailing attitudes of the company and then assists the client in educating and informing the workforce about the benefits of developing a safer working environment. Fundamental to the programme is the understanding that safety is a collective and collaborative activity, not something that is someone else’s responsibility.

Work with high risk industries has shown that a proactive approach to workplace safety often ensures that a company is employing best practice long before legislative demands make that practice obligatory and enjoy higher productivity and profitability than less enlightened companies.
