Employee Engagement

Encouraging the workforce to be positive about their jobs and themselves makes sound business sense – particularly in tough economic climates

Employee Engagement

Employee engagement is widely recognised as a dormant source of creative energy, that when correctly harnessed will add significantly to both productivity and profit.

The 2009 MacLeod report entitled, ‘Engaging for Success’, has drawn backing from two successive governments, which endorsed the finding, ‘If employee engagement and the principles that lie behind it were more widely understood and shared, we would see a step change in productivity and performance across the UK, and a rise in levels of wellbeing and motivation’

Workforce involvement is a workplace approach designed to ensure that employees are committed to their organisation’s goals and values, motivated to contribute to organisational success and are able to enhance their own sense of safety and well being.  It is WrightWay’s experience that the hard work spent fostering commitment from line managers to engage with employees will yield significant rewards for both the company and the individual.

The Hay Group has established that organisations which actively enable and motivate their workforce through engagement programmes, enjoy a revenue growth four and a half times that of similar but less enlightened organisations.

By combining safety and engagement, WrightWay’s clients simultaneously tap in to these financial growth benefits, whilst reducing needless financial loss through accidents.
