Incident Investigation Training Course

All organisations need properly trained personnel to investigate incidents and accidents, which examine not only on the outcome but also the potential for business improvement

Despite effective risk assessment programmes, incidents can still happen and thorough investigations are necessary to identify the root causes. WrightWay’s Incident Investigation course enables trained company investigation teams to properly analyse the cause of incidents and identify means of preventing a recurrence through effective control measures.

In keeping with UK Health and Safety Agency teaching, WrightWay develops the ability to examine the root cause of an incident. By examining case studies and using the benefit of our own experiences, root cause analysis is a central theme of the course.

By concentrating on the human factors and organizational influences which combine to make the incident prone environment, action can be taken to reduce the unsafe acts which, were they to continue unchecked, have been proven to result in an accident.

This course in conjunction with WrightWay’s associated risk assessment course provides an essential cornerstone for a company to make meaningful changes to its processes and procedures which in turn will reduce incidents and improve business performance.
